Oh Marcie, why? The worst bit for me was that her family had to watch it happening right before their eyes and were powerless to help.

I know. It was very traumatizing for the whole family, but I just felt that her getting sick and dying like normal was just, well... old. In some strange way, I thought she deserved to have a more memorable death (which is kind of morbid now that I think of it). Still, I think it's how Marcie would have wanted to go; in the thick of action, doing something she was passionate about and loved. I can't believe someone from the second generation is dead. It feels like she was just a toddler learning to walk and talk and use the potty not too long ago. I hate when my Sims die. It makes me so sad. I'd play with aging off, but that kind of defeats the purpose of a legacy challenge, heh.

I agree. Sims dying stinks. I remember when I first got the game, and my first sim died I was like, "What? Already? But I just made you!" I hate it, but at the same time it adds to the game. And without death, the Simiverse would become overpopulated.

Exactly, which is why we need to just suck it up and deal when our favourite Sims get old and die, unfortunately. I was heartbroken when Marylee died. I still miss her, three generations later.

I miss Marylee. Why did you have to remind me of her? ? jk, but I do really miss her. It's great to remember Sims of the past actually, and I never forgot Marylee.

I'm glad you haven't forgotten her. Sometimes I'll just stare at her tombstone, and all the other tombstones of the Charm family and remember how it all started... with a guitar and a dream.

Aw! That's so cute! It all started with a guitar and a dream! I hate having the tombstones of my Sims in my backyard cuz it's kinda creepy when the sims float through the walls and then watch your TV and then at four in the morning when everyone gets up to eat and bathe for work and school they are still there and usually in the way. I like that you get to see your sim again though. Poor Marcie and Marylee and Christopher and Mandy, and Josiah and Frank and Frank's family! It's all gone. We are only left with the third and fourth generations. It's all leaving so fast!

*sob* I know. It's both sad and exciting, since with every generation that dies off, a new one is born.
