I know everyone hates reading all the things they're not allowed to do, but I want to make sure everyone has a good time here and that means knowing what kind of behaviour is and is not tolerated in the forum.
Please take the time to read all of these rules carefully. If you're confused about something, PM me so I can clarify and perhaps modify the rule if it is the source of a lot of confusion.
The general rule of thumb to go by is; if you have to think about whether or not something is okay to post, chances are, it probably isn't.
----------
1. This forum is generally a PG-13 forum. That means that anything beyond something you would find in a PG-13 rated movie is strictly not allowed. The only exception to this is Sims 3 stories/movies/legacies you've created yourself. If your creation is above a PG-13 rating, you may still link to it, but you MUST post a clear warning stating that it contains mature content. Also, anything that contains non-Barbie nudity or teen/child/toddler/baby Sims being viewed in a sexual manner in screenshots is not allowed, whether linked or not.
2. Please be polite and courteous to all members. If you disagree, that's okay, but please debate your positions in a calm, collected and objective manner. Name-calling or any other rudeness will not be tolerated. If you notice this kind of thing on the forums, whether you're a part of it or not, please PM me or a moderator to have the issue resolved.
3. No flaming, flooding, double-posting, or spamming. See definitions thread in this board for more details on what these are.
4. Absolutely no flirtatious conversations between members is permitted. Of course, friendly compliments such as "I really like your legacy" and "That's a great CC piece," are always welcomed, but flirtatious or otherwise suggestive comments may make others feel uncomfortable. This is not an online dating site, so don't treat it like one.
5. Throughout the forum, there will be more specific rules pertaining to a particular board stickied. Please make sure to read these individual rules before posting in these boards.
6. Please don't give out personal information on the forum, such as last names, phone numbers, addresses, MSN screen names, Facebook and MySpace profiles and the like. This is for your own protection. If you wear a school uniform or sports/hobby-related uniform, please do not post pictures of yourself in that uniform, as these can be tracked by predators. You may give out Twitter names only if you use it solely for a Sims-related subject.
7. Have fun!
