Hi, There! My Name is Megan. I have been following the Charm Legacy since, maybe the fourth chapter? I think it's an amazing legacy! Anyways, I'm almost 14, and I have 2 dogs and 1 cat. I live in the great country of Canada, and I hope to study law in my near future. I'm kind of a dork, I like Star Wars and that kind of stuff. My parents think it's unhealthy how much I play the Sims 3. Also, when I try to explain to my parents about the Sims3, they give me this face. Lol. Anyways. My favorite colour is black and pink, and my middle name is Rose. Get my username? Lol. I'm thinking of publishing my legacy, but I think I just need to get the hang of it. Anyways, Thanks for reading this.

Hey Megan! Welcome to the forum. I'm glad you like my legacy. It's a little different than most out there, what with the kind of content in it and all, so it's always nice to see regular followers. It helps me to remember that there are people who enjoy my legacy and that I don't need to sugar-coat it to make people like it. ^-^ My parents think my Sims obsession is stupid, too, haha. Whenever I say the word "Sims", they basically tell me to shut up and go away. I too, am a dork. I love Star Wars and my favourite thing to do on Friday nights when I was in high school was play Dungeons and Dragons with my friends. I was a level 13 druid, and let me tell you, druids gets some pretty wicked spells once they hit level 13; you just need to put up with their crummy spells long enough to level them up to that point.

Hello Megan. Don't worry about the dork-dom of not only obsessing about Sims but also Star Wars (two of my totally favorite things!) Ashleigh, we have too much in common, except I didn't come to D&D until college. My husband and I still play with our group of friends who are also huge dorks In high school my friends and I would play card games, Super Mario Bro's and Axis and Allies (a sort of world war II simulation board game that took days to play). We were quite the geeks. Now I teach high school and they still think I'm geeky. I have Star Wars action figures on my white board and boxed collectibles from Final Fantasy 7 and Star Wars pinned to my wall. I'm such a nerd Oh, and I forgot about the giant Hancock poster of Will Smith's sunglasses and one from I, Robot on my classroom walls. Since I also have a Harry Potter Poster and one from the Beattles Abby Road album cover, the kids just think I'm eccentric.

Haha, you sound like the kind of teacher I would have loved in high school. I like teachers who have personality and aren't afraid to express themselves in front of the kids. I feel it makes them less intimidating and easier to approach with a question or problem.

Dorks usually DO seem like the nicest people though. Yeah. I wish some of my teachers were like you hrootbeer. I have probably the most BORING teachers EVER, which makes it hard and boring. GO STAR WARS.

Haha, I had the same English teacher for three years in high school and he was awesome. He loved Spiderman and had a giant tattoo of Spiderman on his back and his favourite thing to tell us was that "Spiderman had his back". He had a collection of comic books on his desk and he even somehow convinced our principal (who was also awesome) to replace all the crosses in every classroom with a Jesus action figure.
Ah... I miss high school.

GO STAR WARS. I wouldn't say that I'm not hard or boring, but I think kids do like me despite those things. I'm sorry that you have boring teachers. I remember sitting in my class with the monotonous guys who were like Ben Stein on Feress Bueluer's Day Off. I was the type of person who did my homework in class while the teacher was droning on. Which meant if they called on me, I wouldn't have a clue what was going on. Teachers probably wondered why I had a A-B average.

Ashleigh, I WANT your old high school teacher. Like, WANT. Badly. I actually also adore action figures and comic books, which would have been awesome having a teacher who has the same interests. Jeez, where are all the good teachers where I live! You are bang on hrootbeer. (By the way, what is a shorter name that I could call you?) I think I remember that teacher in the Day Off Movie. That was my favorite movie when I was about 4-6. Blah. All my darn teachers are so QUIET! They never laugh or smile. They all where glasses, brown, grey and ugly, old loafers. Poor me.

Heather is fine. Or just H. Kids at school call me G, which is my last name initial. They know I'm a huge Will Smith fan and it's a play on J and K in Men in Black (also 50 cent--the rapper?--'cause of G-Unit, which I hate).

Hi I'm new to the forums too. I absolutly LOVE the Charms, it was tied between them and the Arbors until they were deleted But now I can devote my time entirely to Charms ;D Im also 13 at the moment - Megan, you're the first person I've met so far who is my age! I am not a Star Wars fan, but I do like Yoda and the way he mixes up his words I have two great teachers at school and that's it, although I think it's mainly to do with the fact that my class are a total riot and no teacher seems to think that we deserve some fun Except my Maths and English teachers (they are also my favourite subjects BTW) My English teacher is quite old but she's SO funny and absolutly ADORES George Clooney. She has posters of him all over her wall and it makes the room feel a bit more ..... homey than the others. All my other teachers are remarkably similar to yours, Megan! They all wear brown and grey cardies i mean, what would possess you to buy something like that? They're not old, they're maybe late twenties and they dress like my gran...

Hey Kaitlin! I never read much of the Arbors myself, but I heard a lot of people were disappointed when it was discontinued.

The Arbor Legacy was great and I found it a real inspration when I was starting out with my own legacy, so I was sad it stopped but I'm very happy that it sounds like the Charms and co won't be going the same way.
Actually, it's not the Arbors stopping that was just the sad bit, it was it getting deleted with no explanations. At least you've explained your hiatus and that's cool - people shouldn't do things unless they're fun, but a little word of explanation is never a bad thing, so people understand.
Anyway, I've hijacked blackrose's thread, so hi blackrose! Do you have a sims blog of any kind?
