To start I've been an avid fan of the Charm Legacy since Generation 1, though I'm not sure if you remember me from the comments back in June. Due to some patching issues/game crashes I gave up on the Sims 3 over the summer months. I played my Legacy family with the Indie mod and couldn't deal with not having it, so it wasn't until I figured out how to play with the Awesomemod + Indie that I returned to my family and Legacy writing. That and my 2nd favorite ghost (Blasius) glitched out and had to backtrack and replay and entire generation to interract with him. About me. I'm 25. Got a fiance and no money for a wedding. Working on fixing that. I absolutely love mmorpgs; I've played UO, WoW, Warhammer, AoC, and my latest one is Darkfall Online. Its a game few people have heard about, but something is so satisfying about being able to kill someone 1 v1 and take all his armor, mounts, and weapons (everything on his corpse). Then send him a whisper and thank him for the "phat loots". I've also starting working on my own legacy again. Up to generation 5. Its plotty and time consuming but I love every one of my sims. But yeah....I love to read plotty legacies. Its good to see that yours has survived over the summer; many of the ones I used to read haven't been updated in months. Kudos to you.

Hey meowbark. Welcome to the forum. I'm not one for MMORPGs myself, but I have a lot of friends who really like them. I get very squeamish at the sight of death and blood, which is why a game like The Sims suits me. I don't have to kill any of my Sims if I don't want to and there's no gore. I hated not having Indie, too, and almost gave up on the Sims 3 because of that until I got twallan's Story Progression mod which is compatible with almost anything, including Awesomemod and in my opinion, is much better than Indie. I don't use Awesomemod, though. I don't like it. I'm working on getting my legacy going again. I'm just writing a little at a time whenever I feel motivated enough to do it, and being careful not to burn myself out again, so it may still be a while, but it's coming.
