What mods did you use, were they free, and what's the basic use of each mod? You know a lot about your other families. I tend to just find out where they live and look through a window and watch them while my sims sleep. Then I watch them stand there and do nothing. So it would be really helpful if you told me a little about all the mods. I've already seen the resources page on your blog.
EDIT: Hey I checked out some of your mod links real quick and I am a member in Crazy Town but it won't show me the link to Twallan's Story Progression Mod and it says that there is an error and that couldn't be found in a forum. Do you think you could figure it out or is it just me?

Well, the reason I know so much about my other families' lives is because of twallan's Story Progression mod. I get popups about pretty much everything and everyone in the town, telling me who they're dating, who they broke up with, what jobs they got, who they're friends/enemies with, when they have kids, and even which single guys have children who aren't living with them that they pay child support to. It's pretty intricate. I actually need to update my Resources page to repair broken links and add more mods. twallan doesn't host his mods at Crazy Town anymore. The Simmer Club is hosting his mods now. They can be found here. If you're new to using custom content and/or mods and not quite sure what to do, I'd be glad to help. I couldn't play this game without CC and mods, heh heh. Also, try not to double post in a forum. Many forum administrators have rules against it, simply because it opens the doorway for spam and looks messy. If you want to add to your post, you can click the Modify option above your post to do so. Thanks. EDIT: I merged your posts for you.

Oh thanks! This all just shows how clueless I am! I'm sixteen, forced to take computer classes at school, and still clueless! I also stink at writing, unless it's the Sims!

OMG i can't believe how stupid I am! I found the problem with why my custom content wouldn't go into my game! I didn't have the ddx.whatever file and I was putting it in My Documents! I read the Mod The Sims directions! I'm smarter with computers too, took a special class for dummies.

Haha, yes, all your mods and custom content need to go in Computer -> C -> Program Files -> Electronic Arts -> The Sims 3 -> Mods -> Packages.
Unless you installed the game to an external hard drive or something, it should be there that you need to put it. That's the default location The Sims 3 installs to automatically.
