I simply adore it. I had been planning on coming back from the festival I went to and immersing myself back in the Emmetts, but after the whole having-to-change-CC-framework thing I haven't got around to sorting it all out on my Emmett computer yet, so have just been playing around with it all.
It. Is. Epic.
It's totally rivalling Superstar and Seasons, my faves from TS and TS2. I finally have laundry! Something I've randomly been craving since I first played the game. The careers are brilliant, although I haven't tried them all yet - have dabbled in Styling, Architecture, PIing, Medical (not as fun due to rabbit holiness), Inventing (got to level 10 but haven't made a SimBot yet), Ghost Hunting and Firefighting... Actually that's pretty much all of them aside from the Tattoo artist and Sculpting really! Deary me.
How has everyone else been finding it?
OH! And I LOVE the new female hairstyles! They're EXACTLY what I've been looking for in the game for ages, although the one with the hairband looks a lot like a store-hair I got (Anya's hair). Only downside is that now all my female Sims look realllllyyyyyyyy similar. Oops!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!! SO WORTH EVERY PENNY! I haven't been able to say that about an expansion for a looooonng time.
I can't even pick a favourite! They're all so awesome! I love the laundry, the new careers (ALL of them!), the new town, the new hairstyles, tattoos, new places to go in the town like the salon and laundromat.
SO SO SO AMAZING!!!!
And because the mods and CC are handled safely and more efficiently in the Documents folder, I have experienced very little bugginess... hardly any at all, actually, which pleases me greatly. I was expecting to have to reinstall a hundred million times like I did with WA.
Honestly, WA seems really lame compared to Ambitions now, heh heh. Don't get me wrong, being able to travel around the world is cool and all and there were a lot of cool new items introduced with that EP, but it's too adventure-based for me (it plays more like an adventure RPG like Final Fantasy or Harry Potter than a sandbox game, which is what I've always loved about The Sims).
I never make my Sims go on vacation unless I need them to go somewhere for story-writing purposes. Otherwise, I ignore all opportunities involving travel and scrap all wishes to travel and I STILL haven't been to Egypt. Did not get my money's worth and was not worth the 40 bucks in my opinion.
However, I use a feature from Ambitions every Sim-day in my game. Whether it's just doing laundry or hanging out at the Red Rendevouz in Twinbrook or actually doing a profession, there is always something from Ambitions for me to play with. It's fantastic.
So to anyone still on the fence about buying it... BUY I BUY IT BUY IT!!!! You are TOTALLY missing out on an amazing Sims experience if you don't. Best EP for The Sims franchise EVER!!!
