So I'll kick things off in this new board. What do you think about our founder, Azure? Do you like that she's a water nymph trying to adjust to living with humans on the surface? Do you think it's silly or cheesy or uninteresting? What do you think about her, personally? Like her, love her, hate her or somewhere in between? Throw anything you want out there!

She intrigues me. As she's from such a different culture it's great seeing how she interprets that of the Sims, which in your stories is always very 'human' if that makes sense, Ashleigh. I love seeing people plonked down in unfamiliar territory, and how they cope, and how their customs etc fit in with the new.
Azure seems pretty naive to me, but not in a bad way. In terms of water-nymph-ness, is she young by their standards too? She doesn't seem to have had much life experience in both nymph and Sim terms, so she's doubly screwed!!

Yes, she is very young. When the legacy started, she was just reaching adulthood. In her culture, when a nymph reaches adulthood, they're "presented" to all the nymphs of the opposite sex and start mating with as many of them as they possibly can right away to start having children ASAP. They do this to keep their race alive since their breeding cycles are so slow (about the same as a human/Sim) and the ocean is full of predators that are constantly killing them and their young.
Instead of doing her "presentation" ritual, Azure decided to live among humans on the surface because she was fascinated by it. Sort of the same deal as Ariel in The Little Mermaid, I guess, haha. (Does anyone else giggle every time they see her at the dinner table with Eric in that movie?)
